July's theme for the Postcard Swap was Gardens. I made a real quilt to put on my card to Jan. Three layers, hand-quilted and I even managed to get the blocks matching up! I used bonda-web for the binding as that was just too difficult to sew. The poles were cocktail sticks sewn down with invisible thread. And no lawn is complete without a few daisies!!
This is Angela's card to me.
Lovely and bright with lots of beautiful quilting.

Rosa Munda your dimensional postcard is beautiful as well as the one you received. I have never made the time to make one.
ReplyDeleteTHat is ADORABLE! It reminds me of one of my favorite quilts at the one-and-only quilt show I went to this summer. It too had a clothes line with little tiny quilts. Super neat!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely postcards.
ReplyDeleteThe tiny quilt sounds fiddly, but worth it.
What a lovely card well done, but it is way too fiddly for me to attempt but i do think these cards are nice even the one you received
