Yesterday Mike and I had a little trip out to Stowe Landscape Gardens near Buckingham. We had a glorious sunny day.
Here's a little slideshow of the beauty we shared for just a few short hours. If you would like to see the photos in a larger format, click on the centre of the photo to browse.
Its history goes back 400 years. The House is now Stowe School and the Gardens owned and managed by the National Trust.

A wonderful slide show! Thank you so much...and visiting the website you supplied is fascinating! The Grotto and bridges that you photographed are so lovely - what stories they could tell...
ReplyDeleteStowe looks so beautiful - I hope that I can visit one day!

Incredible! I've heard stories from ex-Stowe people about Cadets challenges using the grotto as a bit of a battleground! Looks like you had a lovely day :)
