Spring Blooms Mini Quilt

English lilacs for my 'Spring Blooms' mini quilt.

All those little yo-yos nearly drove me crazy but I finally got there in the end! Three different sizes of yo-yos in three different shades of lilac with tiny lilac beads. The background fabric also has a shimmer to it which really catches the light now it has been quilted.

The ideas came from this lovely book which was a Christmas present from Mike (he had a little help 'choosing' it).
