Hi Ros,
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to be back visiting all my friends.
I love the cheerful photos.
I don't know if you got a cookie recipe but here's one I made recently.
Melt 2oz. of butter and cool slightly.
Sift 5oz flour and half a teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda into a bowl.
Add 3oz sugar, 1 egg, the cooled butter and vanilla to taste, mix.
Stir in 10oz of chocolate chips.
Put spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
Cook at 190 degrees centigrade for about 15mins. until golden round the edges.
Leave to cool for 5mins before transferring them onto a wire rack.
Enjoy.
Sorry if this is too late to use, I didn't notice the date you wanted it for.
But where did you manage to buy such a large bag of chocolate chips?
I think your lilac quilt is lovely and how clever of you to make it.
