Its been a while!

My life has been a bit topsy-turvey for the last few months. At long last the building project which we started in February is coming to completion. Here are a few photos to make you smile!

Take one perfectly good house (garage and garden)

and then bit by bit demolish it!

Thankfully, it no longer resembles these photos! The builders have promised they will be finished the end of next week. Then with any luck I'll have some more photos for you!

This is a beautiful parcel I received from Annie, The Felt Fairy, in her monthly give-away.

A parcel of beautiful embroidery threads! Thank you Annie, you are so kind.

If you are quick you will just catch Annie's new giveaway for this month.

Catching up on the friendship swap from Popular Patchwork here is my block for Brenda. She asked for an oriental theme with red fabrics.

Jytte asked for appliqued tulips.

And Margaret asked for hot summer colours in a contemporary style.

Thank you for not giving up on me during my long absence.

  3. No wonder you have been quiet with all that mess to deal with. Glad that you are finally nearing the end, just in time to enjoy your garden in the Summer. Can't wait to see the finished project. Lovely blocks. Congratulations on your win.
